Copenhagen in Colour
Copenhagen in its natural palette — the painted townhouses and tall ships of its canals, red brick and green gardens, and the glass, steel and timber of its new waterfront districts. This colour series moves between old and new: quiet canals under heavy Nordic clouds, skybridges and glass facades catching the light, and modern homes rising above the harbour water.
Colour here is never loud. It follows the soft northern light that shapes the city, from the yellow of a canal-side row to the deep blue of a spring sky. Each photograph is part of the LensGaze collection by Andrus Markus.
