Copenhagen in Black & White
Copenhagen reduced to light, line and shadow. This black and white series follows the city from its cobbled squares and historic gateways to the glass, steel and timber of its modern waterfront — cyclists crossing open spaces, cantilevered apartments above the harbour, cranes on the horizon and a single street lamp suspended against a grey Nordic sky. Without colour, the city reveals its structure: the rhythm of facades, the geometry of bridges and balconies, and the quiet stillness of water. Each photograph is part of the LensGaze collection by Andrus Markus.
