Uzbekistan is a fine art travel photography series from the cities of the Silk Road — Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva — photographed in September 2025.

Turquoise domes, tiled portals and minarets rise from desert light, while the craft of the bazaar and the rhythm of daily life fill the spaces between them. From the illuminated facades of Registan Square to the silhouette of the Kalan Minaret at sunset, and from the Soviet-era geometry of Tashkent’s metro to the unfinished Kalta Minor in Khiva, the series explores pattern, colour and scale in a landscape shaped by centuries of trade.
